Position: Haitian Creole Bilingual Expert

Type: Contract (Full-time or Part-time)

Compensation: $50-$55/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Transcribe and translate video content accurately between Haitian Creole and English while preserving meaning and context.
• Add precise timestamps to transcriptions for clear reference and traceability.
• Identify and describe emotional tone, speaker intent, and expressive nuances in audio and video content.
• Analyze grammar, vocabulary, and tone to provide detailed linguistic insights and improvement recommendations.
• Clarify conceptual meanings and resolve ambiguous language usage.
• Collaborate with project teams on complex language and communication tasks.
• Consistently deliver high-quality outputs while meeting weekly workload commitments.

Requirements

• Fluency in Haitian Creole and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in transcription, translation, or advanced linguistic analysis.
• High attention to detail with the ability to capture subtle emotional and contextual nuances.
• Background in linguistics, communications, or a related field.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Comfortable using digital tools for transcription, annotation, and team collaboration.
