What You’ll Do

• You’ll lead accounting operations for a portfolio of small to mid-sized business clients, helping them understand their numbers and use them to grow.
• Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage transaction categorization, reconciliations, monthly closes, and financial statement preparation across QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
• Insight Reporting: Prepare polished reports and cash flow insights to help clients make confident business decisions.
• Direct Client Communication: Speak with clients via phone, email, and video—explaining reports, answering questions, and delivering guidance, not just data.
• Tax Alignment: Coordinate with the tax team to ensure every client’s books are clean, accurate, and tax-ready.
• System & Process Improvement: Spot inefficiencies, initiate cleanup projects, and implement better workflows.
• Tools & Technology: Use Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and Office 365 to deliver accurate, accessible financial data.
• Team Contribution: Support internal systems and processes, and help train junior team members when needed.

What You Bring

• Mastery of QuickBooks Online and Desktop – you can confidently own a file end to end.
• Strong communication skills – you’re clear, concise, and comfortable advising clients.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and formula-based analysis.
• A track record of working independently and owning client communication without chasing or reminders.
• Experience in a multi-client, accounting firm setting, with solid understanding of bookkeeping strategy and tax alignment.
• Ability to juggle multiple clients and deliver timely, high-quality results.
• A problem-solving mindset, you can handle both routine bookkeeping and high-level questions.
• CPA license or CPA track is a plus, not a requirement.
